I have been lossing my hair over the last two years, the doctor informed me that due to the amount of hair loss over the last few weeks she felt I should start to think about a wig. I must say I was very aprehensive about this, so took my daughter and husband.
I found Angel Wigs on the internet and spoke to Linda on the telephone she was really helpful, and explained the difference of real hair, advantageous and dis-advantageous , I felt that I could talk to Linda and she understood how I felt.
From walking into the shop to buying the wig Linda was very helpful, she picked different styles and colours for me to try on. Linda showed my daughter how to pin my hair up and then demonstrated to me how to put the wig on. Linda cut the wig to my style. I very much look forward to going back to buy another style and length of wig. |

I walked into the shop with thinning hair and no confidence in my appearance and walked out feeling like a superstar. Linda and Zoe are so welcoming and very very patient. I was assisted to try different styles and colours and given lots of helpful advice; nothing was too much trouble. Linda even cut my hair for me so it would fit under the wig better. I have bought one and am going back to pick up a second one very soon. Go there, you'll walk out feeling much happier. |

I have had alopicia since i was about 2 years old but did not have to start wearing a wig until i was in my late 20's.
I have purchased a few wigs in the past which have never really felt right. I found Angel wigs via the internet,
Linda made me very welcome & allowed me to try on as many wigs as i wanted but also recommended what she thought i should go for.
Im so happy with my new hair & would highly recommend going to see Linda as she definatley knows what she's talking about!!! |

All I can say is Angel Wigs is just that Linda and Zoe are perfect Angels and make you feel so welcome.
I have Alopecia Areata and been struggling with help from my Drs and Dermotologists as they have been so unhelpful and told me to just allow my hair to fall out.
I am a member of Alopecia UK and Linda's shop came up as the only recommeded salon for Alopecia in Essex so I visited her website and it was a breath of fresh air, so informative and great having the video also so I could see the transformations.
I arrived last tuesday my first experience for wig wearing and Linda and Zoe made me feel so welcome and allowed me to try on so many wigs and before I knew it 2 hours had gone.
Linda understood that I wanted to get the right colour, comfort and style for myself and that due to me losing so much hair that it would take me time to adjust to hair loss and getting a wig.
I made an appointment to return on Thursday and was welcomed back with open arms.
Linda and Zoe were really patient as I was in there for 4 hours trying on more wigs and leaving them on to feel comfy as i have psorasis and sensitive skin, so didnt want one that was going to itch.
But I made new friends talking to other customers in the shop in regard to different illnesses and conditions and it was great seeing their transformations.
Linda cut my hair short so it would fit easier under my wigs, Linda made wig wearing so inspiring that it gave me the confidence to ask her to shave all my old thining patchy hair off!!
I thought I would be upset but quite the opposite I smiled again for the first time in ages and felt relived the hair was off and proud of myself to move forward.
Linda and Zoe you were VERY patient with me and little stars making me feel good about myself and im so pleased with my wigs.
I have taken flyers with me advertising the shop as it needs to be put on the map especially in regard to helping others with alopecia.
Thank you Linda and Zoe for making what I thought would of been a difficult time, lots of fun! I feel so much better in myself than i have done in the last 5 months of suffering.

Many thanks Linda for being more than a wig provider you have also become a true friend.
I started wearing wigs and hair pieces two years ago mainly for ease on holidays where sea water and chlorine in the pool made my hair really hard work, now it couldn’t be easier a quick wash and a clip on and I’m ready to go. I now have quite a few hair pieces for all occasions both at home and for holidays and Linda’s help in selecting the right piece have been invaluable.
I could have brought wigs on the internet but in my opinion Linda expertise makes all the difference, I have yet to buy a hair piece that didn’t need tweaking or restyling to make it truly fit my vision of how I want to look.
This is where Linda comes into her own.

After receiving the dreaded news that mum was to undergo more chemotherapy which will result in her losing her hair again, we visited angel wigs and met Linda who was kind, helpful and patient . She got mum to try many wigs of different styles and colours with no pressure to buy. After 2 hours and Linda's advice and help mum made her decision on the right wig for her. Thank you Linda for making a tearful difficult day into a more positive and forward thinking day. |

I found Angel Wigs via the web site on Christmas Eve 2011 and I visited the shop on Canvey Island on the same day.
Linda and her assistant were very attentive and very professional.
I couldn't believe the service Linda gave me, it was fantastic.
Linda tried various wigs on me, different styles in different shades. When I decided on a particular one she asked me if she could trim my hair so that I could wear the wig without obvious 'bits' of my own hair showing, I said yes, and she went to town with her scissors. Even without a wig my thin hair still looked nice. Then she swiftly made up on my face with Bare Minerals, and suddenly when I looked in the mirror I looked 10 years younger!
I would recommend Angel Wigs to anyone, and if people ask me why am I wearing a wig, and perhaps more importantly, why is it a slightly different colour to my own hair, I'll say WHY NOT!!!
I'm going back for another one after Christmas!

Linda was a great help to me.. The thought of losing my hair to chemotherepy is awful but Linda filled me with confidence and having this new wig makes the thought of losing my hair a little less of a trauma especially as its been styled to match my own hair |

After being sent to a shop by NHS was not very happy.I found Angel Wigs on the internet. Linda was very helpful nothing was to much trouble visited three times in all as I wanted the wigs trimmed. also the one I had already bought Linda trimmed it to a style similar to my own hairstyle. At first I was a bit apprehensive about wearing a wig,although my hair had been ruined by heat and over processing. However I now have two hairpieces and is so pleased with the service received from Linda, for even more convenience, I now plan to purchase a full wig, as I am now convinced that this is the way forward. I hair has now been rested and have grown healthy and strong. So thank you Linda for all your patience and help. Heavens, I'm getting old. A long wig used to look good, now I look like a witch. A trip to Linda soon sorted that out.
I now have the most lovely short, feather-cut wig for when I glam up, don a frock and head off into the night.
Thanks to the lovely Linda the process was completely painless and I'm one very happy customer .......... even if it has taken me weeks to write this ..... SORRY!

Huge thanks to Linda for a fantastic wedding hair trial today. I went in with a very loose idea of how I wanted my hair & she surpassed all my expectations. I'm getting married in Vegas in 6 weeks & she took photo's of the various stages of my hair to help the hairdresser.
I also bought a couple of hairpieces so I don't have to faff about on holiday.
She is so helpful & honest & I will definitely go back to her, not just for hairpieces but for cuts as well. |

I visited Linda earlier this year, the purpose for the visit was to find a pink wig for an event I had at work. I found the exact wig I wanted and purchased it immediately. By the time I left the shop I had bought another piece (a hair crown piece) and had an appt to have it fitted the following week.I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but this hair piece has changed my life. My thinning hair is no longer visible, my hair takes a couple of mins to do morning and I don't now feel self conscious on the tube. I just think of it as another hair extension, which it is if you think about it. I am thinking about taking another trip to Linda to purchase another one.
I would highly recommend Angel Wigs. |

So patient and friendly, she instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. She was completely honest too, which was exactly what we needed. I met Linda over a year ago.
Fortunately, unlike many, my interest in a wig, is not due to health problems. I have spent a lifetime looking like Hilfa Ogden (corrie) wearing rollers to try to do something with my straight, baby fine lank hair. Every day was a 'bad hair day'. My decision to visit Angel Wigs has changrd my life. Linda is great, the experience is fun. With her help and advice i came away that day feeling great. I am now the proud owner of 3 different wigs. They are incredible and know-one can tell. I have introduced other friends to Linda. They too love her products. The word 'WIG' sounds old fashioned.Many people have pre conceived ideas from years ago, when they were clearly obvious.

Not only does Linda supply beautiful wigs but she is also an accomplished hairdresser, which a lot of customers may not know. Obviously, this enables Linda to alter wigs, according to client's wishes but she will also cut your hair to the style of a wig you may have purchased from her. This is particularly useful if you don't want others to realise you have a wig but it means on the bad hair occasions, out comes the wig and no one realises! So always looking good. VOILA! |
